Those seeking adventure on snow-covered Pelion, will find it at the Agriolefkes Ski Center where the descent takes place in a stunning natural landscape with views of the endless azure of the Aegean.

Between the Pagasitic Gulf and the Aegean,the Pelion is one of those destinations you can enjoy in every season of the year. When winter blankets the mountain of the Centaurs with its snow-white magic, the landscape turns dreamlike. Those seeking adventure on snow-covered Pelion will find it at the Pelion Ski Center Agriolefkes, just a few kilometers from Volos. Here,snow lovers have the chance to savor the unique experience of winter skiing with views of the sea’s endless blue.

To reach the ski center, follow the road from Volos toward Portaria, pass through Portaria and continue uphill for about 5 km through the forest to Hania. From there continue for another 2 km to the Agriolefkes area where the ski center is located. The Pelion Ski Center Agriolefkes unfolds on the mountain at an elevation of 1,471 m. Here, the descent takes place in a beautiful natural landscape, among beeches, wild poplars, chestnut trees and with views of the Aegean.

The ski center offers 5 runs with a total length of 15 km, 4 of which are main ski slopes (approved by the International Ski Federation) and one is a cross-country trail. Within the ski center’s facilities you will find three parking areas, a restaurant and café, a mountain refuge, rental and retail shops for ski and snowboard equipment, as well as a first-aid station. There is also a ski and snowboard school with special classes for children aged 3 and over.

Don’t miss a stroll to the small settlement of Hania, at one of Pelion’s highest points. Built at an altitude of 1,200 meters, encircled by beech and chestnut forests, just 2 km from the ski center, it makes an ideal base for your winter holidays.
