This Privacy Policy (hereinafter the «Policy») concerns the way of processing your personal data and specifically the conditions for their collection, storage and use, when you visit, register or use the website www.travelgo.gr (hereinafter the «Website»).
The management and protection of your personal data as visitors and users of the services of the Website and the Facebook Page are subject to the terms of this document, as well as the relevant provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation [679/2016 GDPR].
These terms are set out taking into account both the rapid development of technology, and especially the internet, and the existing legislation regarding these matters. In any case, the controller reserves the right to change the terms of personal data protection in order to ensure compliance with the dynamically evolving Greek and European legal framework.

Definition of Personal Data and their Processing
Personal data are information such as full name, postal address, email address, contact telephone, etc., which identify or can, in combination with other information, identify the identity of a natural person, a visitor/ user of the Website or the Facebook Page. Processing of personal data is the collection, recording, organization, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, search for information, use, transmission to third parties, dissemination, correlation, combination, restriction, deletion and destruction of personal data of natural persons. Processing includes any act carried out by the Data Controller on personal data of the users of the Website or the Page.

Primarily, we collect your details directly from you, when you register for services or when you contact us. In addition, we passively collect your personal data through tracking tools such as cookies and beacons. Finally, we also collect data from third parties, such as social networking platforms [Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube]. The ways we collect your data are reflected in the following stages:
- Α) During your visit and browsing on the Website, your data are collected only by the cookies that you have permitted with your consent to be used, which are described in detail in the Use of Cookies here
- Β) To contact us, you complete the corresponding contact form with your full name and your email address (email), which we collect together with your comment in order to reply to you.
- Γ) In the event that you participate in any of the competitions we organize, we will collect and store certain personal data of yours, which are necessary for the purposes of conducting the competition and awarding the prizes to the winners (e.g., full name, email, telephone, AMKA).
- Δ) We do not collect personal data from minors without their guardian's consent. If we become aware that a minor attempts to submit their personal data, we will remove that data from our records. If you are a parent/guardian of a minor who has submitted their personal data, contact us to delete it.
- Ε) The Website uses external traffic logging services, such as Google Analytics. Google Analytics provides us with anonymized data to determine the number of people who use our Website, to better understand how they find and use our pages and to see their path within the Website. Although Google Analytics uses cookies to record data such as your geographic location, your device, your web browser on the internet and your operating system, none of this information is linked to you personally and does not identify you. We note that Google is a third-party data processor.

We process your Data for the following purposes and in particular for:

Access to and Transfer of your Personal Data
Access to your personal data is available to the absolutely necessary personnel of the Data Controller and the businesses collaborating with us, which process your Data as Processors on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. The collaborating companies provide services for the management of the Website and Social Networking Pages, technical support and maintenance, management of comment postings, conducting competitions and granting prizes, data analysis and business activities or/and information systems support and marketing, metrics analysis. The Processors are contractually obliged by us to maintain confidentiality, not to disclose Data to third parties without the Data Controller's permission, to take appropriate security measures, to comply with the legal framework for the protection of personal data and especially the GDPR.
Additionally, we may disclose your Data when you have expressly requested it or when required by law, such as if requested by the police authorities to investigate illegal activities.
Your Data are not transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In any case where it is deemed necessary to transfer your data to countries outside the EEA, we will ensure that your rights and freedoms regarding the processing of your personal data are duly and properly protected. To the extent that it is our obligation, we will ensure that it will be carried out on the basis of contractual agreements using standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or other appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable law.
Retention and Security of your Personal Data
Your personal data are retained for as long as the lawful purpose of the processing lasts, for which they were initially collected, following your free consent.

We delete the Data that we collect from you if it is no longer necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were originally collected. However, we may be asked to store your personal data for a longer period due to legislative provisions. The Data collected by Cookies are deleted in accordance with the Cookie Policy.
