Prasonisi, Rhodes

If you want to see the most impressive landscape of Rhodes and swim at a stunning «double» beach, your destination lies at the island’s southernmost tip (90 km from the town of Rhodes) and is called Prasonisi. It is a wonder of nature, a geological formation that looks like a small island. Imagine a huge, wide strip of sand that, depending on ebb or flood, separates from or connects to the island. This sandy strip is the famous Prasonisi beach, a meeting point for windsurfers and kite surfers from all over the world. Green-blue waters, sugar-white sand, and colorful boards riding the waves offer visitors a unique spectacle.

Anthony Quinn, Rhodes

In a small and picturesque cove in Vagies, 15 km from the town of Rhodes, you’ll encounter one of the island of the Knights’ most famous beaches. Anthony Quinn beach has its own legend, as it became world-famous from the film «The Guns of Navarone» which was shot here in 1961. When Anthony Quinn came to the island for the filming, he was enchanted by this tiny bay with emerald waters and wanted to buy it. In the end he didn’t manage to acquire it, but the name remained. Rocks and pines surround the beach, reaching the water’s edge and offering shade to visitors.

Agios Georgios Dysalonas, Symi

The beach of Agios Georgios Dysalonas is the largest and most impressive beach on Symi. It is located on the island’s eastern side, between Pedi and Marathounda, and is accessible only by sea. Its unique natural beauty, crystal-clear azure waters, and the imposing 300-meter rock rising behind it will captivate you.

Apella, Karpathos

The exotic Apella beach is one of the most popular and most beautifulon Karpathos. It is located on the island’s eastern side, 22 km from Pigadia. Pines leaning over the beach, white sand with pebbles, and pristine waters in every shade of blue-green make the scenery thrilling.

Cavo Paradiso, Kos

Perhaps the most secluded beach on Kos, hidden at the southern tip of the island, about half an hour from the village of Kefalos. The crystal-clear, sky-blue waters and the fine, golden sand compose an utterly relaxing setting. One section is organized, but there is plenty of space for those who wish to create their own atmosphere.

Psili Ammos, Patmos

A beach... revelation on Patmos. Access to Psili Ammos is easy only by boat from Skala, while if you want to go by land, you’ll need to walk quite a bit from where you can leave your vehicle at Diakofti. However, at the end of the route, the beach will reward you. It has fine, golden sand, shady tamarisksand blue-green waters that lend it an exotic beauty.

Platys Gialos, Lipsi

A picturesque, quiet little harbor and a few amazing beaches are enough for an unforgettable holiday on the island of the goddess Calypso, easily reached from Patmos. In Lipsi days pass peacefully, with dips in wonderful waters. About 5 km from the port, Platys Gialos beach enchants with the color of its waters. It has white sand, shallow waters, plenty of tamarisks for shade and a taverna for food. A true paradise!

Pachia Ammos, Nisyros

The most beautiful beach on Nisyros is covered with coarse, dark sand and is located on the island’s eastern side, about 10 km from Mandraki. It is surrounded by impressive sand dunes and dense shrubs. It is not organized, so be sure to bring the essentials.

Sykati, Kalymnos

Sykati is a wonderful beach at the end of an enclosed bay that essentially forms a natural fjord. It is small, with sand, pebbles, and marvelous waters. Access is either by sea with a caique from Vathy, or via a rough path from Palionisos Bay.

Kounoupes, Astypalaia

The uninhabited islets of Kounoupes and Koutsomytis form the «exotic zone» of Astypalaia. Kounoupes island has a very beautiful double beach. A narrow strip of land divides the sea in the middle and creates two shores with pebbles and crystal-clear, turquoise waters. Access is only by private boat or by boat from Pera Gialos.
