The most impressive beach on Agistri is Chalikiada, with white pebbles, deep-blue waters and sheer cliffs. To get there, head from Skala towards Skliri and then follow the trail on a route through the pines. Getting down to the beach requires great care, but the scenery will reward you. Prefer visiting early in the morning or late afternoon so it isnt too hot. Note that Chalikiada is particularly nudist-friendly.

Another beach well worth visiting on Agistri is Dragonera on the western side of the island. Dragonera consists of two beautiful pine-clad beaches, with fine pebbles and pristine waters, Small and Large Dragonera, about 1000 meters apart. On the southwestern shores of Agistri youll come across Aponisos, a lovely private islet that connects to the rest of the island by a narrow strip of land. Here the pines reach all the way to the sea and the blend of colors is unique. The waters feel like youre swimming in a natural, turquoise pool! The setting is ideal for unwinding, taking your dips and watching the sunset. The beach is organized, and theres also a taverna to enjoy fresh seafood and ouzo meze.

Klima beach (or Kleidi) is for many the most distinctive in Aegina. To get there, take the road toward the fishing village of Perdika and at the junction before Perdika turn left toward Sfentouri. Then turn right and after a few kilometers youll come upon a beautiful bay with sand, pebbles and transparent waters. The beach is organized, with sunbeds, umbrellas and a canteen. If you like snorkeling, put on a mask and fins and explore the seabed to the right and left of the bay.

The verdant islet of Moni is a little paradise with deep-blue, almost turquoise, beaches, with pines tumbling down to the shoreline and paths for lovely hikes. The central sandy beach is organized with umbrellas, sunbeds and a beach bar-restaurant. There is, however, another beach on its back side, rocky, without sunbeds and umbrellas for those who prefer quieter swims. The only... permanent residents of the island are the peacocks, deer and wild goats that live there freely. They are used to people, so you can take photos with them.
