The accommodation was born from the owners love for Serifos popular beach. A man of advertising yet a sailor at heart, he spent his summers sailing the Aegean. The wind led him to Serifos, which he fell in love with at first sight.
Thus the Serifos Dream Houses were created, two traditional stone-built houses with views of the Aegean. Surrounded by natural beauty and Cycladic serenity, the houses combine traditional architecture with modern amenities.
With light-toned polished cement and olive-green wooden frames, cool interiors, air conditioning and mosquito screens in every room, the self-contained residences offer the ideal setting for a relaxing island escape. Whether you are a family, a couple seeking tranquility, a group of friends or two families traveling together, the houses - side by side in a quiet complex - can be rented separately or together from May to September.
Each house is 65 sq.m. and is located 150 meters in a straight line from the sea and 350 meters on foot from the entrance to the beach. House 1 can accommodate up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms and House 2 up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms. In keeping with traditional architecture, the balcony, the living room, the kitchen and one bathroom are on the ground floor. The bedrooms and the second bathroom are on the semi-basement level with windows, ensuring a more natural coolness during sleeping hours.
The accommodation offers a private parking area, while guests are provided with beach towels, two beach chairs, a beach umbrella and outdoor mosquito repellents. The kitchens are fully equipped with everything you need for cooking. On arrival, a welcome pack with fruit and wine awaits you.
The houses feature air conditioning in every room and mosquito screens on all windows. You will also find a first-aid kit, a Pilates set, a baby travel cot and a clip-on highchair. The terraces are furnished with sun loungers, armchairs and a sofa, and offer wonderful views of the bay.
The Serifos Dream Houses are located 8.5 km from the port of Livadi, where youll find the nearest shops and restaurants. The island boasts many beautiful beaches and picturesque villages worth discovering. Stroll the charming cobbled lanes of Chora, sit in the square with its meze tavernas, climb up to the castle and surrender to the mesmerizing views. Its worth exploring the islands sights such as the Monastery of Taxiarches and the Folklore Museum, and tasting the local gastronomy.
