Vythouri Beach is a hidden little paradise just two hours from Athens.

One of these heavenly beaches worth visiting is Vythouri in central Evia. It is a small and secluded shore of wild beauty on the far side of Dirfys, facing the Aegean, two hours from Athens.
The beach has sand and fine pebbles, while its waters are crystal clear and turquoise. Two striking rocks frame the beautiful cove. Thanks to the tall, steep cliffs that enclose it, Vythouri is mostly shaded for the greater part of the day.
The beach is not organized and keep in mind that there are no shops within 5 km., so you should stock up on the essentials ahead of time.
Vythouri is about 50 km. from Chalkida. You will get there by following the road towards Agios Athanasios, Glyfada and Vythouri. The last five kilometers are a dirt road.
