The Venetian architecture of Kambos with its arches, stone-paved alleys and bougainvilleas, evokes a small island castle. More than a simple restaurant, Horeftra is an experience that blends memories, local products and contemporary touches, showcasing Tinian cuisine in the most beautiful way.
The restaurant is the creation of Christoforos and Stefanos Delatolas, who with love for their island strive to showcase the gastronomic identity of Tinos. The philosophy of the restaurant is based on recipes with local products and pure fresh ingredients, combined with modern and creative cooking techniques. In fact, many of the products come directly from the family kitchen garden.
The menu at Horeftra is an ode to Tinian gastronomy, with dishes that stand out for their flavor. Among them you will find artichoke moussaka - a unique version of the classic dish based on the most famous product of the island-, gnocchi with cheek and a cream of Tinian cheeses, beef railroad with parsnip-leek puree, kritharoto with Tinos lamb and soutzoukakia with red mint sauce and herb yogurt.
The experience is completed with a delightful ekmek with Greek tsoureki, as well as the carefully curated wine list of the restaurant. In their cellar, pride of place goes to wines from Tinos, selected Greek labels and beers from microbreweries. Moments at Horeftra flow with a relaxed mood and artful Greek music.
