Katerini
Between the Pieria Mountains and the Thermaic Gulf, Katerini emerges, a destination attracting more and more visitors. The city, with its natural beauty, buzzes with life, especially in summer. The closest shore to the city of Katerini, the expansive Paralia, stretching 80 kilometers with crystal-clear waters, is undeniably the number one reason to visit the «lively» city of Macedonia again. Five hours from Athens and just one hour from Thessaloniki, Katerini is a very good choice for your summer holidays.
Trizonia
Trizonia is a lush little island in the Corinthian Gulf, unknown to many, just 500 meters from the shores of Fokida. It is an ideal destination for those seeking absolute relaxation on their holidays, rewarding visitors with its natural beauty. In this small paradise the traditional character has been preserved and the circulation of vehicles (cars-motorbikes) is prohibited. Trizonia has three impressive beaches. The largest, with its reddish sand, is at Pounta, 2 km southeast of the port. The beaches Aspro Chalikia and Kapsales are on the southern and western sides of the island, opposite the Peloponnese. It is said that Trizonia enchanted Onassis, who, during the period when he was looking to buy an island of his own, kept visiting Trizonia and sought a way to acquire it.
