The mansion that houses Camara Suites dates back to the period of Venetian rule and initially formed part of the defensive towers that protected the Lower Castle of Chora. With a history spanning more than 800 years, it is one of the historic residences of Chora, Andros and through centuries of Venetian influence, maritime prosperity and modern restoration, the mansion continues to retain its authentic character.
With respect for its history and architectural identity, the mansion was carefully restored and transformed into an elegant boutique accommodation, preserving authentic features such as arches, stone walls and traditional details that transport guests to another era.
