The new list of the worlds most powerful passports for 2026. See where the Greek passport ranks this year.

The company Henley & Partners, as it has done for several years now, released the annual list of the worlds most powerful passports. The Henley Passport Index ranks passports based on the number of destinations their holders can access without a visa.

According to the index, Singapore has the most powerful passport in the world for 2026. Specifically, holders of the Singaporean passport enjoy visa-free access to 192 destinations worldwide. In second place are Japan and South Korea (188 destinations), while third place is shared by Denmark, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland (186 destinations).

It is worth noting that the Greek passport rose this year to 4th place, offering visa-free access to 185 destinations out of the 227 countries and territories the list takes into account.

Our country is tied with 9 other states: Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Norway.
