Exhibition as part of the tribute to Contemporary Greek Art at the Radisson Blu Park Hotel, Athens.
As part of the events marking the 50th anniversary of its founding, the Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens, on Wednesday 21 October, at 20:00, presents a distinctive exhibition featuring 30 travel posters from the period 1929-1996, designed for the Greek National Tourism Organization and drawn from the collections of the National Historical Museum.
For this anniversary year, the hotel's management, under the curation of art historian Eleni Athanasiou, presents the exhibition titled «Memory and Horizon», which highlights the timeless promotion of Greece as a leading travel destination through the art of the poster.
A few words about the hotel:
The year 2026 is a milestone for the Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens, as it marks 50 years of successful presence in the Athenian hospitality sector.
From its opening in 1976 as the Park Hotel, to today, as the Radisson Blu Park Hotel - following its inclusion in the international Radisson Hotels group - the hotel has evolved alongside Athens, serving as a constant point of reference for business travelers, leisure guests, international organizations, and corporate and social events.
With a privileged location opposite Pedion tou Areos and next to the National Archaeological Museum, and with continuous investments in infrastructure, sustainable practices, and the enhancement of its services, it continues to maintain a strong position in the Athenian hotel market.
This anniversary highlights not only the hotel's history and heritage but also its ongoing effort to connect tourism with culture, organizing exhibitions of contemporary Greek art on its premises.
