Greece's well-established beer festival was held for the 7th year, recording its highest attendance to date.
On 26 & 27 September, the doors of member breweries of the Hellenic Brewers Association opened and thousands of visitors from every corner of Greece had the chance to experience the art of brewing up close.
This year's event recorded the highest attendance to date, with nearly 3,500 visitors at the 15 breweries that took part. Beer lovers from Greece and abroad had the chance to meet the people behind their favorite labels, tour the production areas, discover the «secrets» of the raw ingredients, as well as the production process and the distinctive features of different beer styles.
A total of 15 breweries opened their doors this year:

• Pineios Brewery in Larissa
• Ikarian Brewery on Ikaria
• Cretan Breweries - Zidianakis in Heraklion Crete
• Cretan Brewery in Chania Crete
• Kavala Microbrewery in Kavala
• Cyclades Microbrewery on Tinos
• Local streets beer Microbrewery in Volos
• Mykonos Microbrewery on Mykonos
• Septem Microbrewery in Orologio Avlonari Evia
• Olympic Brewery in Ritsona Evia
• Prototype Microbrewery of Thessaloniki in Thessaloniki
• Siris Craft Brewery in Serres
The increased participation of the public and breweries confirms the momentum the initiative has gained, highlighting the growing interest in Greek brewing and the beer culture across the country. «Open Breweries» will return for a date with the public on the last weekend of September 2027.
