The much-loved stage version of the international best seller, directed by Dimitris Degaitis and adapted for the stage by Andri Theodotou.
The Festival in the Park 2026 welcomes on Friday 7 August 2026, at 21:00, at the Ai-Giannis Detis Park Theatre, one of the most tender and beloved stories of contemporary children's literature. «Mr Stink», based on the eponymous book by the multi-awarded British author David Walliams, comes to the stage in a theatrical adaptation by Andri Theodotou and direction by Dimitris Degaitis.
After the great success of «The Midnight Gang», the two creators return to the world of David Walliams, presenting a story full of humor, emotion, and humanity that speaks to both children and adults.
At the center is twelve-year-old Chloe, a girl who feels invisible at school and at home, until the moment she meets Mr Stink, a homeless man with a big heart, and his little dog, Duchess. Between them an unexpected friendship is born, which will lead to a series of twists and revelations, changing the lives of everyone involved in the story.
With his signature humor and incisive eye, Walliams speaks about kindness, the acceptance of diversity, forgiveness, and second chances, while sensitively touching on issues such as social exclusion, prejudice, school bullying, and homelessness. The result is a performance that moves, entertains, and calls on us to look at the world –and the people around us– with a more open heart.
The performance is presented in the unique natural environment of the Paros Environmental & Cultural Park, on the protected peninsula of Ai-Giannis Detis. Through Festival in the Park, Paros Park continues to offer quality cultural experiences for all ages, combining the power of art with the beauty of the Cycladic landscape.
