The press event for the European program "Wine & Balance" was successfully held on Tuesday 21 July 2026, organized by the Chamber of Corinthia at the "ΤΗΛΕΜΑΧΟΣ" restaurant in Κηφισιά.
The program «Information on the responsible consumption of PGI Corinthia and PDO Nemea wines in Greece, Poland and Germany» is implemented under the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2023–2027 and aims to promote responsible wine consumption and showcase PDO Nemea and PGI Corinthia wines.
During the event, Mr. Giorgos Dalamarinis, Financial Supervisor of the Chamber of Corinthia, spoke about the program's importance in promoting Greece's quality wines. Ms. Sofia Zachaki, CEO of Terra Advisory, presented the project's objectives and actions, while the Deputy Regional Governor for Road Safety and the Traffic Management Center, Mr. Konstantinos Markouizos, stressed the importance of responsible consumption in tandem with road safety.
The event concluded with a tasting of PDO Nemea and PGI Corinthia wines, under the guidance of Sommelier Ms. Katia Tsimtsiraki, offering attendees the opportunity to discover the quality and distinctive characteristics of Greek wines.
The Chamber of Corinthia, as the program's beneficiary, continues to implement information and communication actions with the aim of enhancing the recognition of PDO Nemea and PGI Corinthia wines and promoting a modern culture of responsible consumption.
