The story of Louis Hotels is inextricably linked to the evolution of tourism in Cyprus and the Mediterranean. Louis Group was founded in 1935 by Louis Loizou, who is considered to this day the father of Cypriot tourism.
The journey began with air transport and Cypruss first travel agency, “Louis Tourist Agency”, while a few years later the Group moved dynamically into the hotel sector, acquiring its first hotels such as “Semmering” in the mountains of Cyprus and the historic “Ledra Palace” in Nicosia and later the first hotel in Greece, specifically in Crete.
