Good ingredients from the village and a home style touch in the cooking have made Τρελή Ροδιά a firm favorite for all of us. With the windows thrown open and the spring sun welcoming us, it is our meeting point on weekdays after the office and Fri to Sun from early noon.
Pair select spirits, freshly cooked dishes and, of course, good company! Definitely start with the salad of black eyed beans, herbs and Kalavryta trout, which you will find only here. Continue with the homemade zucchini fritters with mint, dill and aromatic yogurt and do not miss the rustic pasta: either the one with Aegina pistachio and basil pesto or the pappardelle with Messolonghi bottarga.
For the finale, the best: ask for the orange pie with mastiha ice cream and complete the pleasure!
Tip: Ask about the daily specials, because they sell out fast…
