Starting today, the Peloponnese becomes a meeting point for selected international tour operators and representatives of international media, offering them the opportunity to discover it through unique experiences.
The Region of Peloponnese and Visit Peloponnese, in collaboration with the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA), welcome AdventureWEEK Peloponnese 2026, an international event that seeks to showcase the Peloponnese as a leading destination for sustainable and authentic adventure tourism.
Through May 13, the Peloponnese will host 18 specialized tour operators from Europe and North America, as well as 12 journalists and content creators who collaborate with major international outlets such as National Geographic, CNN Travel, Lonely Planet, BBC Travel, Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure.
Participants will have the chance to experience firsthand the unique experiences the Peloponnese region offers: from outdoor activities and agritourism to gastronomy, history, and culture.
At the heart of the overall experience is the Peloponnese Trails initiative, an extensive network of trails that connects natural landscapes, villages, and cultural landmarks across the region.
A strategic partner of AdventureWEEK Peloponnese 2026 is the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), reaffirming the importance of strengthening Greece’s tourism offering and highlighting alternative destinations in Greece.
The goal of AdventureWEEK is to promote the Peloponnese as a destination that combines authenticity, sustainability, and high-quality experiences, while simultaneously enhancing its international visibility and creating new opportunities for international outreach for local businesses.
