4th Athens Collectible Festival: The most distinctive Christmas rendezvous for collectors

The Athens Collectible Festival makes a dynamic return to the iconic Zappeion Megaron on December 20 & 21, a few days before the Christmas holidays, hosting the largest exhibition of collectibles and vintage items in Greece.

More than 70 exhibitors will showcase rare collectibles, such as coins, banknotes, stamps, phonecards, retro computers and consoles, games, figures, LEGO, Pokémon TCG, Funko Pop and many more items and vintage pieces that turn collecting into an experience and holiday gifts into something truly special.

As part of the festival, the themed exhibition «ZAPPEION MEGARON» will be presented, dedicated to the historic monument hosting the event. The exhibition will take visitors back to the beginnings of the Megaron, highlighting its history and role in shaping Greece’s social and cultural life. Through rare archival materials from the collection of Georgios and Angelos Oikonomou, presented to the public for the first time, the Zappeion is approached as a living symbol of modern Greek history, bridging the past with contemporary cultural creation.

Also for the first time, an award-winning work by Nikiforos Lytras is presented to the public, together with the original award that accompanies it. A rare artifact that illuminates not only the work itself, but also the era, the value and the significance of artistic creation.

At the same time, a piece of the history of Greek Philately comes to life through the themed exhibition «Large Hermes Heads – The First Greek Stamps», an emblematic chapter that continues to fascinate collectors and historians. Rare artifacts from the collection of Georgios Oikonomou are presented for the first time, revealing the unique aesthetic and historical value of the first Greek stamps.

It is held under the Auspices of the Group for UNESCO Piraeus & Islands, International Action Art, the Panhellenic Numismatic Union, the Hellenic Philatelic Federation, the Philatelic Union of Larissa and the Hellenic Philatelic Society.

Official Partners: DL cards, Georgios and Angelos Oikonomou, Breeks (LEGO User Group), Pokeholics (Pokémon Trading Card Game), Retrocity, Power Rangers, Omiros Publications and the Ypsilon Art Gallery.

During the festival, visitors will have the chance to win collectible gifts and souvenirs through interactive activities. Little surprises that make the Athens Collectible Festival even more festive and one-of-a-kind!

A unique celebration where collectibles, history and a Christmas atmosphere come together to create the most special experience!
