METAXA, the iconic Greek spirit, announces its entry into the fast growing category of ready to drink beverages (Ready to Drink) with two new cocktails in 250ml aluminum cans with summer inspiration: Peach Spritz and Ginger Lime Long Drink.

METAXA RTDs are aimed at those who seek authentic flavor and effortless enjoyment. The RTD cocktails are made with METAXA (aromatic Muscat wine, aged wine distillates and Mediterranean botanicals) combined with natural fruit flavors, offering a fresh, alternative METAXA proposition, with lower alcohol, for enjoyment beyond the ordinary.

Two distinctive flavors:
- Peach Spritz: Soft, fruity, it highlights ripe peaches, stone fruits and a discreet spritz bitterness, delivering a lingering finish of peach peel.
- Ginger & Lime Long Drink: A bold cocktail with spicy ginger and lime peel, finished with the refreshing bitterness of tonic.
The two flavors draw their inspiration from beloved classic METAXA cocktails, while their packaging is designed for convenience, with a playful, modern aesthetic. METAXA RTDs are ideal for spontaneous gatherings, escapes into nature, enjoyment outdoors, or even on the move. Both drinks contain less than 5% ABV, responding to the growing demand for quality options with lower alcohol.
The launch of the new METAXA Ready to Drink cocktails was carried out with a cruise along the Athenian Riviera, with invited media representatives and selected influencers. With views of the Saronic Gulf and a magical sunset as the backdrop, guests had the opportunity to taste the new refreshing METAXA cocktails, share moments under the sun and enjoy the quintessential Greek aura – with a METAXA Ready to Drink cocktail in hand.
