The first episode for the new year, of the travel showTips by Markos, takes us to Nafplio, the city with unique beauty, picturesque alleys, and significant history.
Nafplios modern history is inextricably linked with the Komboloi Museum. Tips by Markos couldnt miss it. At the museum, you can learn everything about the worry bead, just as Dimitris Markos did by talking with the director, Eleni Evangelinou.

Having learned everything about the worry bead, we visit Syntagma Square, where the areas Archaeological Museum is located, which was built in 1713 as a warehouse and used mainly as a military barracks but also as an interrogation facility during the German occupation.
Next sight, the Vouleftiko, a building that also withstood time. It was built in 1730 and initially operated as a mosque. Afterwards, as a school and as a prison, and for quite a few years now it has functioned as a cultural venue.
Finally, every visitor should also stop by Nafplios War Museum, where one can learn about the history of the Evelpidon Military Academy, as well as the more recent history of Greece, from the Greek War of Independence up to the liberation from the occupation forces.
