The Lille-PAOK match takes place on October 23 at Pierre Mauroy in Lille. If you find yourself there, weve prepared a guide on how to get to the stadium easily.
PAOK is gearing up to face Lille on Thursday (23/10) for the third matchday of the League Phase of the Europa League. The game is hosted at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, one of the most modern stadiums in France and Lille’s home ground, with a capacity of around 50,000 spectators. What makes the stadium stand out is the retractable roof that allows it to host matches and concerts all year round. In fact, it was also used for Euro 2016 and the Rugby World Cup 2023.
The stadium, also known as Decathlon Arena, is located in the Villeneuve-d’Ascq area, a quiet and leafy university campus in the city’s southeastern suburbs, about 6 kilometers from the center of Lille. If you’re not staying in the area, getting toPierre Mauroy is very easy from the city center by public transportation.

From there you’ll walk about 10 minutes to the stadium entrance. Alternatively, line 2 (red) takes you to the Les Prés stop, from where special free shuttle buses carry fans directly to the stadium on match days. Metro services are increased two hours before the games, as well as after.
Bus
There’s the option to reach the stadium directly by bus. With bus line 18 you can board at a central point in the city at the Nationale stop and it will drop you at the Versailles stop, from where you then walk about 4 minutes.
Train
For those who want to reach the stadium by train from other cities such as Paris and Brussels, the main stations Lille Flandres and Lille Europe are less than 20 minutes from the stadium via the metro.
Car
If you have rented a car, follow the signs to Stade Pierre-Mauroy. There are organized parking areas around the stadium, but you may be delayed due to heavy traffic.
