Quality stay in an environmentally conscious guesthouse
Lovers of tradition, nature and tranquility meet in the village of Xirokambi, at the foothills of Taygetos, just 15 minutes from Sparta. There, far from the noise of the city, in the heart of the village, stands the traditional Taleton Eco Guest House, inviting guests to discover a world of rare natural beauty.
Taleton Guesthouse, named after the highest peak of Taygetos, is housed in a building considered a traditional example of Laconian and more specifically Maniot industrial architecture, based on stone and wood. You will be impressed by the old olive oil tank that dominates the entrance of the building, which in the 19th century was used as agricultural warehouses and a place of silk production.

This is a guesthouse that is a model of high energy self sufficiency since both natural materials and technology offer a unique experience with awareness and respect for the environment.
The 10 spacious and elegant rooms provide all modern comforts so you can enjoy every moment of your holidays to the fullest. Each has its own name and personality. Some with a fireplace, some with a small kitchen, either studios or small two level apartments, they satisfy the requirements of every guest.
All rooms include a comfortable double bed with a hypoallergenic Latex mattress made from coconut fiber and Cocomat/ Dunlopillo pillows for a unique sleep experience.

The generous, traditional breakfast at the guesthouse will stay with you. Fresh orange juice (Laconia is famous for its tasty oranges), hand kneaded bread, homemade jams from seasonal fruit, homemade hazelnut praline, traditional strapatsada and other savory and sweet recipes, made with products fromlocal producers, will give you the energy you need to start your day in the best way.

Taleton also has a library and a bar to enjoy your coffee and relax.
If you find yourself here in spring or summer, you will love the beautiful courtyard, where you can have your breakfast or enjoy the tranquility of the Greek countryside while drinking your coffee.

The guesthouse is an ideal base for excursions in the area. Xirokambi is surrounded by countless orange trees, olive groves, lush green mountains, archaeological treasures and amazing monasteries.
