The renowned travel guide Lonely Planet has just published the special edition «Best in Travel 2026» with a list of destinations it singled out for the new year. Each year, the lineup of the best destinations is shaped by suggestions from the editors and contributors of Lonely Planet, as well as the evaluation of travel experts. Among the places the well-known guide recommends, there are also many unusual destinations in every corner of the planet - from volcanic islands to ancient cities and vast national parks. Lonely Planet: The best trips of 2026
