The readers of Conde Nast Traveller voted a Greek island as the best in Europe for 2025.
The worlds largest travel magazine has published its lists for the Readers Choice Awards, which highlight the years best travel choices based on its readers votes. Travelers voted, among other things, for their favorite islands around the world, taking into account the attractions, activities, natural beauty, beaches, food, and the hospitality of the locals.
Once again, the Greek islands took center stage at the Conde Nast Traveller awards. Specifically, in the British edition of the awards, an island of the Cyclades reached the top of the list of the 20 best islands in Europe for 2025, while seven more Greek islands made the same list.
Naxos, top island in Europe for 2025
According to readers of the British Conde Nast Traveller, Naxos, with a score of 95.71, is the best island in Europe for 2025. Its picturesque villages, delicious food, endless beaches and unique Aegean landmarks make the largest island in the Cyclades stand out. Naxos is an island that has it all and can satisfy everyone.

The 20 best islands in Europe for 2025
Naxos is not, however, the only Greek island that stood out at the Readers’ Choice Awards 2025. Crete took 8th place, while Corfu ranked 10th on the list of the 20 best islands in Europe. Rhodes and Skiathos came 11th and 12th respectively. The Greek presence is completed by Mykonos in 14th place, Folegandros in 17th place and Santorini in 18th place.
