A beautiful Cycladic island ranked first among the 15 recommended places in Europe for holidays in April.
Andros earned an international first at the start of the year, as it was ranked at the top of the annual list by the multi-award-winning travel blog wanderlicious.co.uk featuring the most suitable European destinations for holidays before the high season.
The blog specifically encourages its thousands of readers from the UK, the USA, Germany and Australia to choose Europe in April, noting that «the weather is favorable, the summer crowds are absent, nature is in bloom and the experience is magical».
Later in the article, the blogger who was hosted on the initiative of the Municipality of Andros and with the support of the CTN Andros network of local businesses, concludes that «Andros is number one on the list. The beautiful Cycladic island does not resemble the usual over-touristed places, but is calmer, greener and absolutely dreamy in April.
