Agios Dimitrios
Agios Dimitrios is the most famous and, for many, the most beautiful beach on Alonnisos. A snow-white tongue of land that juts into the blue. The dazzling blue waters deepen abruptly, while the shore is covered with white pebbles and fine shingle. On its right side, the beach is more organized with beach bars, umbrellas, sun loungers, as well as a restaurant. The beach is 15 km from Patitiri and 6 km from Steni Vala.
Kokkinokastro
A beach that's distinctive and different from the rest, with cliffs sheer to the sea and reddish rocks. The color of the rocks, combined with the deep blue waters and the natural environment that surrounds it, creates a magical landscape that impresses every visitor. Kokkinokastro beach is organized with sun loungers and a canteen and is 8 km from Patitiri.
Chrysi Milia
Chrysi Milia is one of Alonnisos' most popular beaches, on its eastern side. Here, fine golden sand prevails, while the pines reach down to the sea. The shallow waters make this beach an ideal destination for families with children. The beach is organized with sun loungers and umbrellas, yet there's plenty of space for those who want to spread out their towels. Chrysi Milia is 6 km from Patitiri.

Close to Chrysi Milia, in a small bay, you'll find another wonderful beach hidden within a dense pine forest. Milia has coarse pebbles on the shore and sand in the sea. The beach is organized and also has a beach bar if you want coffee and snacks.
Leftos Gialos
Leftos Gialos is a fairly large and popular beach with views toward the two uninhabited islets, the Two Brothers. The beach is surrounded by gray rocks and covered with white stones and fine shingle. It's organized, and there are little tavernas around with good food. To get to Leftos Gialos you'll travel about 7 km from the capital.
